Biography
Peter Rumens was born in Barry, South Wales. During study of A level science subjects at Barry Grammar School, he contemplated medicine as a career, but regretted not studying the arts and languages. He moved into a sales career in his early twenties.
His marriage provided him with three fine children, and in time, three fine grandchildren.
Over the years, the creative side of his persona was satisfied by involvement in various theatre groups, photography, and later, avid hands-on experience in all aspects of video production.
He moved to Spain ten years ago to enjoy a change of climate and lifestyle.
He is a member of a "Freethinkers Group"; a secular group of humanists, rationalists and sceptics, who meet monthly to put the world to right.
He has made a large circle of both Spanish and British friends; lovely people, and the lifestyle is far more laid back than in the U.K.
Now retired, with time on his hands, and a degree of self-confidence, he felt it was a natural progression to turn his hand to writing.
